Registered Nurse Operating Room Cardiovascular
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Pay Rate: $2,500 To $2,720/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday Friday; call required
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Cardiac OR experience required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. This role supports the Heart Center CVOR team and requires strong Cardiac OR experience, pediatric experience as a plus, and the ability to provide safe, high-quality care in a cardiovascular operating room setting.
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care for cardiovascular operating room procedures
Circulate during Cardiac OR cases and support safe surgical workflow
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, perfusion, and OR team members
Monitor patient status and respond appropriately during procedures
Float as required and follow facility safety, infection control, and documentation standards
Requirements
Active Georgia Registered Nurse License Or Compact RN License Required
Cardiac OR experience required
BLS/BCLS Certification Required
PALS Certification Required
Pediatric experience preferred; must meet nicotine-free facility and flu vaccination requirements as applicable
