Overview
We are in need of an experienced quality inspector with an obsession for detail. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in programming Hexagon CMMs using PC-DMIS software with mechanical knowledge in a machine shop, with experience in quality assurance and control processes. Someone who can take a mechanical print, cad model and make a CMM programing checking all GD&T to print creating a report. This role is crucial for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision. The Programmer will work closely with production teams and management to check parts to assure that they adhere to industry standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001 and customer specs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Complete ownership of the quality department
- Must Understand GD&T
- Set QC standards for machine operators, programmers and set up teams
- Manage in-process jobs and ensure dimensional and process requirements are met
- Expert level knowledge of DCC CMM. (Programming, set up, and general operation), while also using provided supporting tools such as; micrometers, calipers, gauge pins, depth mics, surface checkers, height gauges
- Interact with Production Management to ensure in-process quality requirements are met
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by Management
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to train future CMM operators
- minimum 1 years experience as a CMM Programmer/Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment
