Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in menu planning to introduce new pizza options and seasonal specials
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Support food preparation activities, including ingredient assembly and portioning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Contribute to catering events and special functions with expert pizza crafting and serving skills
Experience
- Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen environment, preferably with pizza or restaurant experience
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with the food industry, including catering, fine dining, or casual restaurant settings
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- Enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills and contributing to team success
