Front Desk Concierge
The Kansas City Club opened its doors in 1922 inside one of downtown Kansas City’s most distinguished buildings — and after years of anticipation, it’s coming back. Re-imagined for a new era, KCC is a private city club with deep roots and a clear point of view about what a membership experience should feel like. The Lobby Attendant is where that experience begins — the first face a member sees, the first name they hear, and the first signal that this place knows who they are.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Greet every member and guest by name at the front entrance; announce arrivals to the Dining Room Host and ensure a seamless handoff into the club
- Serve as the concierge presence in the lobby — assist members with requests, answer questions, and resolve needs at the door before they require escalation
- Coordinate actively with the Hospitality Manager on member context, special circumstances, and anything that affects the arrival experience
- Communicate with the Hospitality Manager when lobby interactions surface prospective member interest or onboarding-relevant information
- Attend pre-shift briefings — contribute lobby-level awareness and arrive prepared on member notes, anticipated arrivals, and special occasions for the shift
- Own the lobby environment throughout your shift — presentation standards, cleanliness, and ambient details are yours
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 2+ years in a front-facing hospitality, concierge, or guest services role — private club, hotel, or upscale environment preferred
- Warm, polished, and genuinely people-focused; you make members feel known from the moment they walk in
- Strong with names, faces, and details — you retain what matters and act on it
- Calm and composed under pressure; able to handle member needs graciously and independently
- Professional presentation consistent with a private club environment
- Flexible availability — daytime and evening coverage across club operating hours

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
