We're looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager who understands that HR is about far more than hiring and paperwork. This person will help attract outstanding people, develop our team, strengthen our culture, and ensure every employee is treated with fairness, dignity, and respect.
Primary Responsibilities
- Process of multi-state weekly payroll.
- Administer compensation, benefits, and employee records.
-Manage employee onboarding and ensure new hires are set up for success.
-Oversee workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and leave administration.
- Maintain confidential personnel records and HR documentation.
- Recruit, interview, and hire exceptional employees who fit our culture.
- Guide managers through employee relations, coaching, discipline, and performance management.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Coordinate training, leadership development, and employee recognition programs.
- Help strengthen a culture built on accountability, quality, productivity, teamwork, and mutual respect.
The Person We're Looking For
- High character and unquestionable integrity.
- Excellent judgment and discretion with confidential information.
- Strong communicator who can build trust with employees at every level.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable balancing compassion with accountability.
- Self-motivated and willing to take ownership of problems until they're solved.
- Experience in construction, transportation, or field operations is a plus.
Qualifications
- Human Resources experience with increasing responsibility.
- Working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Experience with payroll, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce, Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems.
