General Summary of Position
MedStar Health is looking for a Resident Chaplain I to join our team at Washington Hospital Center!
The Resident Chaplain I provides spiritual care services and coordinates spiritual care program on an interfaith basis in assigned clinical area. Participates in clinical pastoral education program as defined by the Standards of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education.

Provides spiritual care, guidance and comfort to patients, families, and Hospital employees. Visits patients, and responds to spiritual needs, providing counsel and advice concerning problems and questions of spiritual guidance and personal adjustment.
Assists the Department of Spiritual Care with the coordination of spiritual services as an administrative unit chaplain in assigned clinical areas, and through on-call duties, special projects, and worship leadership.
Participates in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) training, student membership within the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, and departmental meetings, planning, and activities.
This position has a hiring range of : USD $37,440.00 - USD $61,859.00 /Yr.
