We are seeking a full-time Peer Support Specialist to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. In this role, you will provide essential expertise and consultation to promote a culture that respects and integrates each client’s preferences, values, and unique perspectives into their treatment plans. You will support clients in achieving symptom stability, improving their quality of life, and fostering independence within their communities.

Placement within the range is based on licensure level, education, and experience.

Qualifications

Must be a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) in North Carolina.

Personal experience with mental health and/or substance use recovery is required, with the ability to share lived experiences as part of client support.

Strong communication and advocacy skills.

Commitment to upholding the principles of the ACT model and person-centered care.
