The Assembler will contribute to the company’s success by performing a variety of electrical mechanical and/or adhesive tasks on interrelated parts and sub-assemblies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Performs bonding, gluing, sealing, mechanical and/or electrical mechanical assembly, pemserting, riveting torque tightening and adjustments of interrelated parts and sub assemblies.
- Proficient use of hand and power hand tools while adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains consistent quality and understands productivity rates for each job.
- Performs in-process inspections up to and including SPC as required and standard quality checks.
- Follows work instructions and work orders (routers) to ensure all customer and Acro requirements are met.
- Safe operation of tooling and equipment is understood and always followed.
- Maintains clean work environment.
- Completes accurate paperwork including labor sheets, material pick lists, and time records as appropriate.
- Responsible for packaging parts in a safe and reasonable manner to move parts throughout the shop.
- Responsible to stop the process if at any time parts are not meeting the quality requirements or the process is not meeting safety requirements.
- Required to use measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers and indicators with height gages as required for each job.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Normal production environment.
· Safety glasses are always required in the manufacturing area.
· Lubricants and sharp metals will be part of the normal operations.
· Ability to lift, bend and twist repetitively as required for each job.
· Clear or correct vision and a close distance and ability to read small print, numbers, or measurement devices at a close distance.
· Ability to pull and push 10 lbs. unassisted, pull and push above shoulder level and perform repetitive hand and wrist motions.
· Ability to lift 15 lbs. unassisted and up to 50 lbs. with assistance.
· Will be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
· Normal B shift workweek is 4 (10) hour days with off-shift and weekend support as needed to ensure work is completed in a timely fashion.
Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
