- $18+ an hour, based on experience
Responsibilities or job duties:
- Prepare, assemble and fusion weld various metal components
- Demonstrate ability and skills to certify on all welding techniques for sheet, tube groove, and fillet welds in all base metal groups appropriate to product mix.
- Inspect weld quality to assure weld joints are of acceptable quality
- Measure and verify welded components meet specified blueprints, sketches and/or specifications using various measurement equipment necessary to task.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Two years college/technical school or three years related experience/training with proven skills preferred.
- Ability to comprehend routers, blueprints, sketches, diagrams, operating instructions, manuals, specifications, correspondence.
- Strong cognitive skills and mechanical aptitude
