Med/Surg Telemetry unit serving a mixed adult patient population including med-surg, ortho, observation, and step-down cases

Active RN license for Vermont (Standard or Compact)

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications required — all must be active prior to contract start, or a booked course must be confirmed at time of clinical orientation

De-escalation training required — must be active prior to start or a booked course confirmed at orientation

Experience in med/surg telemetry nursing required

Provides age-specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with nursing standards

Assumes leadership responsibilities including delegation of tasks to other staff members
