Window Place Plus is a growing! We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful execution of our residential window, door, and siding projects throughout South Jersey.
This role requires a unique balance of technical construction expertise and exceptional customer service skills. The ideal candidate has extensive experience scoping, measuring, installing, and overseeing residential window, door, and siding projects and understands what it takes to deliver a high-quality installation from start to finish.
As our Project Manager, you will own every project after the sale—from final measurements through final payment. You will ensure jobs are measured accurately, materials are ordered correctly, permits are obtained, crews are prepared, customers are informed, and installations are completed to Window Place Plus' high standards of quality.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the installation process while leading crews, managing materials and inventory, solving field challenges, and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience.
This role requires someone who is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to think on their feet. The ideal candidate takes ownership, communicates effectively, solves problems independently, and leads by example.
While this position is primarily focused on project management, it is expected to maintain a strong field presence by providing hands-on support with service work, troubleshooting, quality control, training, and small installation projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Field Operations
- Conduct accurate field measurements and scope residential window, door, and siding projects.
- Review project details and verify all measurements, specifications, and materials before ordering.
- Submit material orders in a timely manner and verify incoming orders for accuracy.
- Obtain municipal permits, dumpster permits, and other required project approvals.
- Manage projects from final measure through installation completion and customer sign-off.
- Perform jobsite inspections and quality control reviews throughout each project.
- Identify and resolve field conditions, installation challenges, and unforeseen issues.
- Maintain project documentation, photos, and reports.
- Enforce safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
Crew Leadership & Installation Oversight
- Supervise and support installation crews and subcontractors.
- Coordinate daily crew assignments to maximize productivity.
- Train and mentor installers on company installation standards.
- Ensure crews have the materials, information, and resources needed for success.
- Verify installations are weather-tight, code-compliant, visually appealing, and completed to company standards.
- Ensure jobsites remain clean and professional throughout each project.
- Provide hands-on assistance with service work, troubleshooting, punch-list items, sash replacements, screen replacements, and small installation projects as needed.
Customer Experience
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the installation process.
- Conduct pre-installation site visits and project reviews.
- Keep customers informed of project progress and expectations.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate warranty service and follow-up appointments.
- Conduct final project walkthroughs.
- Ensure customers are satisfied and final payments are collected.
Materials, Inventory & Warehouse
- Manage materials and inventory for all active projects.
- Coordinate material procurement and supplier deliveries.
- Verify incoming materials and orders for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain organized inventory and minimize material waste.
- Support efficient job staging and warehouse organization.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Support ownership with operational planning and resource allocation.
- Assist the sales team with technical expertise and project feasibility.
- Track project performance and continuously improve customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in construction project management, installation management, and field operations.
- Extensive experience scoping, measuring, installing, and overseeing residential window, door, and siding projects.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods, flashing systems, weatherproofing, building codes, and installation best practices.
- Experience managing installation crews and subcontractors.
- Experience with material ordering, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
- Ability to accurately perform field measurements and identify installation challenges before production.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to think critically, adapt quickly, and make sound decisions in the field.
- Comfortable using mobile technology, project management software, and digital documentation.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- EPA Lead-Safe Certified.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish/Russian/Polish).
Pay: $68,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
