Join our Menomonee Falls, WI team as a Senior Electrical Engineer. This role is hands on with design, development, modification, and analysis of various electronics systems including motor controller and power conversion applications for naval ships and submarines.
- Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in existing products or systems and makes modifications as needed
- Compile and evaluate design and test data
- Analyze, develop, and recommend design approaches
- May use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments
- Provide regular reporting of progress and status
- Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable
- Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems and services
- Develop prototypes to retire key development risks as directed
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field + at least 8 years of experience in design and product development
- Knowledge of power electronics, power distribution, circuit board design, and/or semi-conductors is much preferred
- Motivated and engaged; comfortable in a team environment but also okay with working independently sometimes
