Quality (mechanical) Inspector needed for CNC precision machine shop. Candidate must have experience with AQL, First Piece, In-Process and Final inspections. Must be able to use micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, thread gages, etc. Experience with CMM moves you to the front of the line! Previous aerospace experience is preferred.
This is not a "visual" or electronic inspection position. You will be required to perform dimensional checks on all parts machined with tolerances being +/- .0005.
Interview will consist of you performing a FAIR per AS9102. We will give you a print, one part and the tools (digital height gage, optical comparator, calipers, etc.) necessary to check it with.
