We are seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator for a plastics manufacturer in Pineville, NC. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in manufacturing quality and at least an associates degree. Candidates must have experience with quality management software and be highly familiar with metrology and the use of measurement equipment in a Quality Lab setting. Familiarity within automotive industry is a must.

Responsibilities of the Quality Coordinator
Quality Inspection & Testing:
- Conducts incoming inspection of raw materials and component parts using visual, mechanical, and chemical testing methods to verify compliance with quality standards
- Performs in-process quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with internal, regulatory, and customer requirements, including product identification and traceability
- Executes product testing per established test methods and documents results accurately
- Conducts shipping inspections and audits to verify outgoing product quality
- Monitors production operations against defined processes; identifies non-conformances and escalates or resolves issues in a timely manner
Calibration & Metrology:
- Manages the calibration and verification process for measurement and test equipment
- Coordinates with maintenance and engineering to log, track, and maintain new and existing devices
Document Control & Reporting:
- Maintains ISO/IATF document control processes for internal and external documents, including customer requirements, specifications, and test methods
- Documents audit findings for process, product, and system audits; generates clear and accurate reports
- Supports the Program/Quality Manager with administrative tasks, data collection and analysis, and records management
Continuous Improvement & Compliance:
- Identifies and recommends opportunities to improve quality, reduce costs, and optimize test equipment maintenance
- Upholds all company safety, housekeeping, and personnel policies, as well as quality policies and ISO/IATF 16949 requirements
- Performs additional duties as assigned by supervision
Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
