Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Cook and plate food consistently while maintaining speed, accuracy, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation throughout each shift.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
- Assist with prep work, stocking, cleaning, and kitchen organization.
- Work closely with pizza makers, cooks, servers, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Jump in and help other team members when needed, even outside your primary station.
- Take ownership of your work area and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and guest satisfaction.
- Assist with catering orders and large group orders as needed.
- Complete opening and closing duties thoroughly and consistently.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, pizzeria, or food service experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
- Ability to multitask and stay productive during both busy and slower periods.
- Takes pride in their work and demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
