Position: Physical Therapist
Location: Charlotte County, Florida
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: Up to $58/hour
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our skilled rehabilitation team in Port Charlotte, Florida. In this role, you will help residents restore strength, mobility, and independence while delivering high-quality, resident-centered care in a supportive, interdisciplinary environment.
Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
Implement physical therapy interventions and maintain accurate clinical documentation
Provide therapeutic services including gait training, ambulation, strengthening, balance training, endurance, posture control, and coordination activities
Train residents in the use of adaptive equipment such as orthotics and prosthetics
Select and apply appropriate physical therapy modalities based on diagnosis and functional needs
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation staff to ensure coordinated care
Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated
Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary conferences
Supervise support staff in accordance with state and facility guidelines
Educate residents and families on mobility techniques and progress expectations
Maintain therapy equipment and ensure proper safety and functionality
Active, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida
Strong clinical knowledge of rehabilitation practices and interventions
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
