The Commercial Group at Amphenol is currently seeking aField Applications Engineerto support large Enterprise and Consumer Company.
Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1OEMsglobally. The Company designs, manufactures and markets electrical, electronic and fiber optic connectors, coaxial and flat-ribbon cable, and interconnect systems. The primary end markets for the Company's products are communications and information processing. Including cable television, cellular telephone and data communication, storage, and information processing systems; aerospace and military electronics; and automotive, rail and other transportation and industrial applications.

The FAE engineering team interfaces with customers, internal product development, product marketing, and the extended salesteamto provideworld-class interconnectsolutions to our customers.

Engineering resource on the sales team to lead technical aspects of the sales cycle; discovery,design,prototyping, and production

Providing technical marketing support for the development anddesign inofProducts, including internal/externalpower,memory, storage, and internal IO

Prepare andparticipatein deliveringtechnical presentations to the customer

Develop customer-facing material that is application specific

Provide customer supportforall technical inquiries; provide product solutionsto address customer concerns

Help devise strategiesto differentiate our products and solutions from our competitors

Meet and exceed strategic objectives

Some travel will be required to other customer or Amphenol locations in the US or Taiwan.
Education/ Experience:
-
Bachelor's Degreein an Engineering discipline or other technical equivalent
-
Electrical Engineering, Mechanical EngineeringPreferred
-
2+ years' experiencein Design or Applications Engineering ofelectrical hardware components/interconnect solutions industry

Experienceproviding product marketingand technical support to produce design wins
Skills:

Proficient in communicatingacross organizational hierarchies

High levelof customer service, ability to build rapport with customers

Proficient use of modelingtools such asCreoor Solid Works.
