Responsibilities

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, ovens, mixers, and other culinary tools
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Support the dietary department by adhering to dietary guidelines and assisting with special meal requests
- Help with food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals and smooth kitchen operations
- Follow safety protocols during cooking, cleaning, and equipment use to prevent accidents or contamination
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary services, restaurant kitchens, or food industry settings is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper food handling techniques
- Strong knife skills, slicing techniques, and familiarity with recipe adherence are advantageous
