WOODPATEL has immediate openings for full time CAD Manager in our Phoenix office. As a CAD Manager at WOODPATEL, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our CAD processes. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong communicator, and possess extensive experience in CAD software and management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and lead the CAD team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members

Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of CAD standards and procedures

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure accurate and timely delivery of CAD designs

Evaluate and recommend new CAD software, tools, and technologies to enhance productivity and innovation within the team

Conduct regular training sessions for team members to enhance their skills and keep them updated on industry best practices

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all CAD designs

Act as a liaison between the Engineering team and other departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred)

Proven experience (3 to 5 years) in a CAD management role, demonstrating leadership and project management skills

Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or other industry-standard tools

Strong understanding of engineering and design principles

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to think strategically and make decisions that align with the company's goals

Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
