Responsibilities
- Safely and compassionately restrain patients during examinations and treatments
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during appointments and procedures
- Collect laboratory samples including blood, urine, and fecal samples
- Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas
- Communicate with clients and provide patient care instructions
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Assist with treatments, diagnostics, and patient care
- Help maintain hospital cleanliness, organization, and workflow
- Support the team wherever needed to ensure excellent patient care
Qualifications
- Veterinary experience required
- Comfortable handling and restraining dogs and cats of all sizes
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with venipuncture and laboratory sample collection preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
