We are seeking a dependable and skilled Medical Assistant to join our growing private practice that combines specialty rheumatology care with medical spa and wellness services.
This is a great opportunity for a Medical Assistant who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and is comfortable moving between clinical duties and front office support. Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Fridays: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Full-time or Part-time available
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and prepare them for provider visits
- Obtain vital signs and document patient information
- Assist providers with clinical duties and patient care
- Perform venipuncture/lab draws
- Administer injections and assist with procedures as needed
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, supplies, and medical equipment
- Support both rheumatology and medical spa services
- Assist with medical spa patient care, including before and after photos for treatment documentation and patient progress tracking
- Occasionally assist with approved social media content and practice marketing efforts to showcase services and promote the practice
- Maintain accurate patient records, EMR documentation, and clinical notes
- Assist with front office responsibilities as needed, including:
- Patient check-in/check-out
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments
- Managing patient messages and communication
- Help maintain an efficient, organized, and welcoming patient flow
Qualifications:
- Previous Medical Assistant experience Required
- Strong phlebotomy/venipuncture skills
- Experience administering injections
- Comfortable working in both clinical and front office settings
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Takes pride in appearance, attitude, and patient interactions
