Duties
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, coloring, and special occasion styles with precision and flair
- Use salon software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently
- Educate clients on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail options to maximize their salon experience
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and handling inquiries professionally
- Mentor junior team members and support store management in daily operations to foster a collaborative atmosphere
Experience
- Proven experience in hair styling, barbering or cosmetology with a strong portfolio of diverse styles
- Knowledge of color theory to create customized coloring solutions for clients’ unique needs
- Familiarity with salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment booking and retail management.
- Strong communication skills to effectively understand client desires and provide expert advice
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Experience in store management or mentoring roles is a plus but not required
