Overview
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist I to support urgent care operations in Vacaville and Fairfield, CA. The Radiologic Technologist will perform general radiographic examinations, ensure image quality and patient safety, maintain equipment, and assist patients throughout the imaging process. During periods when radiology services are not being performed, the technologist will also support Patient Services Representative/front-office duties, including registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and medical records.
Job Details:
- Perform general radiographic examinations according to established protocols.
- Position and instruct patients before and during examinations.
- Evaluate images to ensure required quality standards are met.
- Maintain patient safety throughout examinations.
- Inspect and clean radiology equipment before use.
- Report equipment failures and malfunctions.
- Produce and organize images and required paperwork.
- Burn CDs and perform occasional film printing.
- Complete requisition and charge-entry information.
- Assist with patient rooming and other clinical duties during downtime.
- Perform front-desk and registration duties as needed.
- Verify patient demographics, insurance, eligibility, and benefits.
- Collect applicable co-payments, deposits, and fees.
- Assist patients with insurance and referral questions.
- Maintain accurate EMR information.
- Assist with moving patients when necessary.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited radiology program
Licenses & Certifications
- California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
- ARRT Certification
- Current AHA BLS or equivalent healthcare provider BLS
Experience
- New graduates are eligible.
- 1 year of general radiology experience preferred
- Basic clerical and computer experience required.

Pay: $70.00 - $74.00 per hour
