Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior HR & Administrative Specialist to support the daily human resources and administrative operations of our manufacturing facility. This position will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management support, and general office administration.
The ideal candidate has strong experience working in a manufacturing environment, is able to handle multiple priorities independently, and can effectively communicate with employees and management at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, resume screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and onboarding.
- Conduct new hire orientation and ensure all employment documents and personnel records are completed accurately.
- Support employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, attendance issues, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Assist with the implementation and administration of company HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook requirements.
- Coordinate performance review processes and maintain related documentation.
- Administer employee benefits, leave requests, workers’ compensation matters, and other HR programs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HR systems and personnel files.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and safety requirements.
- Prepare HR reports, employee notices, internal communications, and other HR-related documentation.
- Support employee engagement activities, company events, training sessions, and corporate culture initiatives.
- Handle daily administrative responsibilities, including visitor and client reception, office supply management, vendor coordination, facility support, and payment application preparation.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers to support smooth office and factory operations.
- Provide guidance and support to junior HR and administrative team members when needed.
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred.
- At least 5 years of HR and administrative experience.
- Previous HR experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and general HR practices.
- Familiarity with federal and state employment laws and workplace compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with employees and management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience using HRIS, payroll, attendance, or applicant tracking systems is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the automotive industry, particularly the low-speed vehicle or electric vehicle industry.
- Experience supporting a growing manufacturing organization.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior HR or administrative employees.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
