Arias is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Engineering Technician to join our team and grow into an ICC Inspector position. This role involves supporting construction and quality assurance projects through precise data collection, material inspection, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in , construction site operations, and quality control processes. We will consider those without experience who have potentail. The Materials Technician plays a vital role in ensuring materials meet project specifications and safety standards, contributing to the successful completion of construction projects with a focus on concrete forming, masonry, and construction inspection. This position does require the candidate to be willing to study and pursue certifications required to do the job. We help train you. You will be taking tests for certifications. We do support your learing process.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections on materials delivered to the site, ensuring compliance with project specifications and contracts
- Collect and analyze data related to material properties, performance, and durability for ongoing projects
- Assist with construction site inspections to monitor adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Support construction teams by providing technical guidance on concrete forming, masonry work, and other material-related tasks
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and analysis reports for project documentation
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve material-related issues promptly
- Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained for accurate results
Experience
- Construction site experience, particularly with concrete forming, masonry, or general construction activities
- Knowledge of quality inspection procedures and data collection methods in a construction environment
- Familiarity with contracts related to construction materials and inspection processes
- Strong analysis skills to interpret test results and identify potential issues early in the project lifecycle
- Prior experience with construction inspection or related roles involving concrete or masonry work is a plus
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in dynamic environments
You must have a Driver's License that is in Good Standing and be of 21 years of age.
