Overview
This full-time, role based in PA/NJ, focuses on the responsibilities of a Construction Project Manager. Key duties involve leading, planning, coordinates, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Planning project schedules and timelines. Managing budgets, contracts, and costs. Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews. Ensuring compliance with building codes, permits, and safety regulations. Monitoring project progress and resolving issues that arise. Communicating with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders. Conducting site inspections and quality control. Preparing reports and documentation. Required Skills & Qualifications: Leadership and team management Budgeting and cost control Scheduling (using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6) Risk management and problem-solving Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and OSHA safety standards Effective communication and negotiation skills
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (often preferred) Several years of construction experience Certifications such as Project Management Institute's PMP, Construction Management Association of America's CCM, or OSHA training can improve career prospects.
Work Environment: Designated Site with occasional reporting to the office.
Salary: from $90,000 - $140,000 per year
