Leader Breeders is looking for an instructor who will be responsible for facilitating engaging sessions that support youth in developing self-awareness, emotional regulation, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. This role focuses on creating a safe, supportive environment where participants can grow personally, build confidence, and strengthen life skills that extend beyond the program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead SEL workshops and group sessions for youth participants
- Teach core SEL competencies including self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making
- Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment that encourages open dialogue and participation
- Facilitate discussions, activities, and reflections that promote personal growth and leadership development
- Build positive relationships with youth and serve as a trusted mentor and role model
- Address conflicts and guide youth through problem-solving and communication strategies
- Collaborate with program staff to align SEL content with overall program goals
- Track attendance and provide feedback on participant engagement and progress
- Support special events, group activities, and workshops as needed
