Responsibilities:Deliver high-impact instruction across networking fundamentals, infrastructure, routing & switching, wireless, and network security preparing students for industry certifications including CompTIA Network+, Security+, and Cisco CCNA/CCENT pathways. Design hands-on labs, simulations, and real-world scenarios that go beyond the textbook, while tracking student progress and coaching learners through challenges every step of the way. Connect the classroom to the workforce through job-readiness skills, industry trends, and employer expectations. Collaborate closely with program directors, fellow instructors, and local employers to keep our curriculum relevant and immediately applicable.Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years experience in networking, systems administration, or a related IT field, along with industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Cisco CCNA. Possess or qualify for an Ohio Career Technical educators license. Ability toobtain or currently hold a valid Ohio Career-Technical Education (CTE) teaching license in Business Information Systems, or a willingness to pursue licensure, is required. A solid background in current industry software, a valid Ohio drivers license, and positive Background checks (BCI/FBI) are mandatory. A passion for people and prior teaching or mentorship experience is preferred.
