Job Recruiter Job Description
A family owned company who values its employees is looking for a recruiter to bring more individuals into our team. We are looking for a Recruiter with full-cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcingand attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees.
- Design and implement overall hiring strategy
- Work with department managers to develop and update job descriptions
- Responsible for posting open positions on universities/colleges, community organization job boards
- Partner with marketing to promote hiring on social media sites, company website, etc.
- Schedules and attends Career/Job Fairs and Community Events with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants
- Partner with marketing to prepare recruitment materials
- Build relationships with local high schools, vocational schools, colleges and universities for potential recruitment, coop and internship opportunities
- Generate interest and educate potential applicants about our company and its culture
- Screen candidates’ resumes and job applications
- Schedule and conduct interviews with qualified applicants
- Schedule 2nd interviews with qualified candidates and appropriate management.
- Extends verbal and written contingent offer letters.
- Work with management to negotiate and hire personnel.
Experience/Attributes
- 3+ year’s experience in recruiting or hiring
- Strong understanding of recruiting/hiring practices
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills
- Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Knowledge of MS Office software: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong decision-making skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
