Delivery Driver – Independent Contractor
We are looking for reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join our team as Independent Contractors. Drivers use their own personal vehicle to deliver packages throughout assigned routes.
Responsibilities
- Arrive at the Macon warehouse by 6:00 AM to pick up and prepare packages.
- Load and organize packages in your personal vehicle.
- Follow the assigned route and complete deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Use a smartphone and GPS/navigation apps during your route.
- Scan packages and take accurate delivery photos as required.
- Follow delivery instructions and company procedures.
- Communicate with dispatch about missing packages or delivery issues.
- Safely handle and carry packages.
- If you finish your assigned deliveries early, you are free to go home early.
- Any failed or undelivered packages must be returned to the Macon warehouse.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable personal vehicle suitable for package delivery.
- Smartphone with reliable data service.
- Ability to safely lift and carry packages.
- Ability to follow GPS directions and manage multiple deliveries independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Previous delivery experience is a plus, but not required.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
