Job Summary
Naosu Sauna is seeking a dependable, welcoming, and detail-oriented Wellness Studio Associate to help create an exceptional guest experience in our boutique contrast therapy studio. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment, and thrives working independently.
As a Wellness Studio Associate, you'll play an important role in the daily operation of the studio by providing outstanding customer service, maintaining a beautiful and relaxing space, supporting studio operations, monitoring wellness equipment, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed from the moment they arrive.
We're looking for someone who is proactive, takes ownership of their work, communicates professionally, and contributes to a positive, wellness-focused culture.
Pay
$21.00 per hour
Schedule
Part-time | Approximately 12–20 hours per week to start, with opportunities for additional hours as the studio grows. Evening and weekend availability is required.
ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience
- Welcome and check in guests with a warm, professional attitude.
- Assist first-time guests with waivers and studio orientation.
- Answer guest emails and assist with scheduling questions or appointment changes during your shift.
- Help create a calm, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere for every guest.
Studio Operations
- Complete opening or closing procedures.
- Prepare, brew, and replenish tea throughout the day.
- Roll, display, and restock towels to maintain a polished spa presentation.
- Restock guest amenities, retail products, and studio supplies.
- Complete operational checklists accurately.
- Help maintain inventory and notify management when supplies are running low.
Studio Care
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout the studio.
- Clean saunas, cold plunges, showers, bathrooms, changing rooms, and common areas.
- Squeegee water and maintain dry, safe walkways throughout the day.
- Empty towel bins and trash as needed.
- Ensure the studio remains guest-ready at all times.
Equipment & Preventative Maintenance
- Monitor sauna and cold plunge operation.
- Test and maintain water chemistry.
- Replace filters and perform routine preventative maintenance following established procedures.
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Friendly, professional, and dependable.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Basic computer and technology skills.
- Hospitality, wellness, fitness, spa, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and reach throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in warm and humid environments, including sauna areas.
