Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Painter specializing in Residential projects to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, caulking, drywall repair, plastering, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
- Execute residential painting projects using various techniques including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (conventional and airless), and structural coating applications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers, and scaffolding or ladders safely and efficiently to reach high or difficult areas.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and color schemes accurately to execute detailed paint plans aligned with client specifications.
- Apply coatings on interior and exterior surfaces such as walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, masonry, and fixtures while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and protocols including respiratory protection.
- Perform surface preparation for renovation or restoration projects by repairing drywall, applying caulking, finishing concrete or masonry surfaces, and installing fixtures as needed.
- Maintain a clean work environment by managing debris and ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after each project.
- Follow safety guidelines rigorously while working at heights or with hazardous materials to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in residential construction painting with a strong portfolio demonstrating mastery of brush work, roller application, spray techniques (including industrial spray painting), and surface preparation.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to painting projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and color theory principles for precise color matching and visual consistency.
- Hands-on experience with various hand tools, power tools, scaffolding use, ladder safety practices, and fixture installation.
- Background working on renovation projects involving drywall installation/removal, stucco application, plastering, caulking, framing carpentry, masonry work, and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to read construction plans accurately while understanding the nuances of commercial versus residential painting requirements.
- Strong commitment to safety regulations including respiratory protection protocols and proper handling of coatings and chemicals.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to surface area or material quantities are essential.

Pay: $28.07 - $33.80 per hour
