What You’ll Do
- Provide speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing evaluations and treatment
- Help residents maintain communication abilities, cognitive function, safe swallowing, and overall quality of life
- Support residents in staying connected to the people, activities, and conversations that matter most to them
- Build meaningful relationships with residents while supporting their communication, cognition, independence, and confidence
- Document patient progress using Net Health and facility systems
- Collaborate with residents, families, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused therapy culture where support, ideas, and encouragement are shared
- Bring professionalism, compassion, and kindness to every interaction
What You’ll Bring
- Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing
- A genuine passion for working with older adults
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- A team-oriented approach and commitment to quality care
