Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining a welcoming environment. Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, services information, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Perform cashiering duties including cash handling, processing credit/debit transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of cash drawers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist in putting away garments and tagging individual garments for dry cleaning.
- Contacting customers when their dry cleaning/ alterations are ready for pick up.
Skills
- Proficient in operating POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Previous experience in retail or dry cleaning environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader range of customers.
