POSITION SUMMARY:
The Coordinator of Volunteer Services supports, encourages, assists and guides students who administer and participate in Austin College's various community service programs.
Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Guide, assist, empower, and enable students serving on the Service Station Board to coordinate the college’s volunteer service program, including First We Serve, Great Day of Service, Jan Serve, Alternative Spring Break, Green Serve, and additional programs as determined by the Service Station Board.
- Serve on the Hallam Citizen Scholarship Selection Committee.
- Maintain budgets and accounts for all Volunteer Service Station programs.
- Schedule and supervise Service Station student workers.
Other Job Function Statement(s)
- Assist as needed within and beyond the Student Affairs division of the College (computer support, support of special projects, etc.) as part of the overall staff network.

Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired: Some college coursework preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physical activities required are finger dexterity necessary to operate equipment used in the position, talking, seeing and hearing. Walking, sitting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling and minimal unassisted lifting (up to 20 pounds) associated with the job duties is required.

Pay: $18.50 - $18.61 per hour
