Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in supervising kitchen staff, ensuring efficient shift management and high team morale
- Oversee food production processes, guaranteeing consistency, presentation excellence, and adherence to recipes and standards
- Lead food preparation activities for various service types including fine dining, catering, and banquets
- Manage inventory control and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and sanitation standards across the kitchen
- Support menu planning efforts by contributing innovative ideas and seasonal updates
- Supervise dietary department operations when required, ensuring special dietary needs are met with precision
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow and customer satisfaction
- Train new team members on food handling, cooking techniques, and safety protocols
- Oversee catering events and banquet setups, maintaining quality and timely delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in food production within fine dining or hospitality settings with a strong background in restaurant management
- Supervising experience leading culinary teams in fast-paced environments
- Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, dietary requirements, and sanitation practices
- Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations
- Skilled in cooking techniques across various cuisines with a focus on presentation and quality assurance
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to motivate and manage staff effectively
- Experience with catering services, banquet operations, and event coordination is highly desirable
- Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of service

- Valid certifications related to food handling safety; hospitality or culinary degrees are preferred
