Part-Time Telemetry Technician
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
High school diploma or equivalency required. Must attend Basic EKG interpretation with 90% or higher prior to monitoring alone. Obtaining the national telemetry tech certification is desired, but not required.
Provides indirect patient care. Monitors patient heart rate and cardiac wave form per a continuous monitoring system. Notifies the staff in the event of rate, rhythm, or other monitored waveform changes per departmental policy.
