Inside Sales Representative – Windows & Doors
Full-Time | Anchorage, AK | $DOE + Commission
We’re hiring an Inside Sales Representative to support in-store sales operations and customer project management at our Anchorage showroom. If you enjoy helping customers bring their projects to life, this is a great opportunity to join a respected, local company.
Position Summary:
As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll assist homeowners and contractors in selecting the right windows and doors, provide quotes, manage orders, and coordinate with installers to ensure smooth project execution. You’ll be a key part of our retail sales team and serve as a trusted resource for customers throughout their project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist walk-in customers and guide them through product options
- Create accurate estimates and process sales orders
- Coordinate installation scheduling and follow up with customers
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of window and door products
- Ensure showroom displays and materials are organized and current
- Support outside sales staff and installation teams with project logistics
Qualifications:
- Solid attendance is required and rewarded.
- Prior construction or millwork experience will help but is not required
- 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or administrative support
- Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills
- Comfortable reading measurements, product specs, and basic plans
- Must pass a clean background check (no felonies)
- Friendly, dependable, and highly professional
Compensation & Schedule:
- Hourly wage + commission (after probationary period)
- Starting pay based on experience and skillset
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Some overtime during peak seasons (no weekends)
