Overview
We are seeking a driven individual to help operate our drum shop. This is a part-time role with very flexible hours to help ship products, refurbish, and procure equipment. There is the potential for the hours of this role to grow.
Heritage Drums is a digital drum shop with significant inventory who sends shipments to the continental US. The focus for Heritage Drums is in vintage and used gear. We are also a Meinl dealer.
Responsibilities
- Fulfilling e-commerce orders on Reverb, eBay, and our site.
- Repairing and refurbishing drums and gear.
- Traveling to purchase drum gear.
- Cleaning and preparing inventory for photos and videos.
- Taking photos and videos of gear, which may include sound engineering.
- Meeting with customers and answering questions and helping sell gear.
- Taking inventory of equipment.
- General duties as needed.
- Ability to handle various administrative tasks.
- Procuring equipment via digital formats and in-person deals.
- Must have driver's license with the ability to travel to pickup and drop off shipments and orders.
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
Experience
Ultimately we are looking for someone passionate about growing our small business. These elements are preferred, but not required.
- Drum and/or music experience preferred.
- Ability to utilize technology such as Shopify, Reverb, eBay, and other technologies.
- History of fulfilling and shipping orders.
- Self-starter with the ability to work and accomplish goals independently.
- Sales experience preferred.
- Connections to area marching bands and music scene.
Compensation
- Compensation will be based on experience and schedule.
- Store discounts will be part of compensation package.
