Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for pet owners, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations in a busy veterinary practice. Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, pet care, and appointment availability.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries with professionalism.
- Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint and handling as needed during examinations or treatments.
- Provide information to clients about pet care, medications, and post-treatment instructions.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients.
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure smooth operations within the clinic.
Experience
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting or animal care environment is preferred .
- Skills in pet care, animal handling, and basic knowledge of animal husbandry are highly desirable.
- Experience with aseptic techniques and laboratory procedures is a plus for candidates interested in expanding their role within the clinic.
- Knowledge of small animal or veterinary critical care can enhance your application.
