Premier Excavating is hiring a Skid Steer Operator for commercial excavation and utility projects across West Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Operate a skid steer safely and efficiently on commercial job sites
- Fine grade for concrete and asphalt
- Backfill foundations and utility trenches
- Load trucks and move materials around the site
- Assist with site cleanup and general labor as needed
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Work closely with foremen and other crew members
Qualifications
- Experience operating skid steers in commercial construction
- Ability to read grades and work from stakes (GPS experience is a plus)
- CDL Class A or willingness to obtain one preferred
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Experience with excavators, dozers, or loaders is a plus
