Job Summary: Carpenter
We are looking for a motivated, reliable, detail oriented individual to fill a carpenter role. We are looking for self starting individuals who take pride in their work and have a solid work ethic. Because of our reputation in the industry, the carpenter position will be a full time, year round position. As a carpenter you must bring a good attitude to work and want to learn.
Qualified candidates for the carpenter position must have the following skills:
- Be familiar with architectural drawings
- Read a measuring tape accurately
- Be able to read a level
- Be familiar with the use of the following tools: Table saw, miter saw, framing & trim nailers, grinders, drills, hand tools etc
- Ability to climb on and work on ladders, get on roofs
- Good communication skills
- Must be neat, orderly, reliable
- Have strength and stamina and ability to lift 60 lbs overhead
Activities:
- Framing floors and walls
- Framing roofs, laying out and cutting rafters, matching roof lines
- Installing windows & doors
- Exterior trim & siding
- Interior trim
- Keeping workplace clean and orderly
- Communicating with company stakeholders and customers on a daily basis
Compensation for the carpenter position is commensurate on skills and experience level.
All candidates must have a valid drivers license and a good driving record.
