Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and mechanical equipment
- Operate tools such as ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to diagnose problems accurately
- Assist with painting projects and other cosmetic repairs to enhance property appearance
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Supervise or assist with small-scale projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields such as manufacturing or residential services
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- Electrical experience including working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and troubleshooting electrical systems
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with residents or team members in English
- Ability to use tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices confidently
