We are looking for a competent Edge bander Operator to run a Holzher 1554 edgebander safely and accurately to perform all types of edgebanding applications. Operators must be able to work with great concentration and precision and in a production based environment. They must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines, and have a keen eye for detail, quality and a great mechanical aptitude.
The goal is to produce high quality, and consistent parts on a routine basis.
Responsibilities
- Lifting of some heavy materials
- Responsible for moving parts on conveyors to and from machine
- Basic daily operation of the machine and all of it's functions
- Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading detailed work orders
- Input proper thickness of parts into the computer
- Maintain machine by keeping components inside machine clean and free from debris
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Troubleshoot issues
Requirements and skills
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills, including metric system
- Computer savvy with basic understanding of machine programming
- Good communication abilities
- Hardworking individual with production oriented mindset.
- Must have a keen eye of colors of various edgebandings and thickness types.
- Must take pride in role and be conscious of quality of parts coming off machine, and functions of the machine.
- Conduct quality checks on a consistent basis, and correct issues as they arise.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings a plus

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
