Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, self-motivated Maintenance Associate with a broad skill set and a strong work ethic. This individual will be responsible for general facility upkeep, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring systems and equipment operate efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in the areas of: Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC/Mechanical, Carpentry, and Life Safety Systems
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Assist with snow removal, lawn care, and seasonal property upkeep
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance needs
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards
- Communicate clearly with staff and leadership regarding work orders and project timelines
Qualifications
- General knowledge and hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and life safety protocols
- Prior maintenance experience in a healthcare or similar facility preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks
- Must be able to pass background and health screenings per facility standards
- Must live within a reasonable driving distance of Adams, NE (local candidates preferred)
