Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Collision Manager to lead our collision repair operations with enthusiasm and precision. Duties
- Supervise daily collision repair shop activities, coordinating repairs from initial assessment to final detailing
- Oversee vehicle damage estimation using computer-aided tools and ensure accurate, transparent estimates for customers and insurance claims
- Manage a team of technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper handling of power tools and hand tools
- Inspect vehicles for auto body damage, auto painting needs, auto glass replacement, and auto restoration requirements
- Ensure all repairs meet quality standards through thorough inspections, including detailing and finishing touches
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours for each vehicle
- Foster a positive work environment that emphasizes safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a collision repair shop or dealership environment with hands-on auto body repair and mechanical tasks
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and auto painting techniques.
- Proficiency with computer-aided vehicle damage estimating software and technical proficiency in automotive repair tools.
- Knowledge of auto restoration processes and familiarity with detailing standards to ensure vehicles are returned in pristine condition
- Ability to lead a team while maintaining high safety standards through proper PPE use and adherence to safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with customers, insurance adjusters, and team members
