Job Description:
SalSon Logistics is looking for experienced
CDL A Tow Truck Drivers / Road Service Technicians to support our growing fleet. If you’re mechanically inclined, know how to handle roadside situations, and take pride in keeping equipment moving, this is a high-impact role with steady work and strong pay.
What You’ll Do
- Respond to roadside calls (jump starts, tire changes, refueling, minor repairs)
- Safely operate tow trucks and secure vehicles for transport
- Tow company equipment to service centers or yards
- Diagnose basic mechanical issues in the field
- Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting
- Complete service paperwork and communicate with dispatch/operations
- Support accident recovery and emergency response situations
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform tractor/trailer diagnostics and repairs
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs, inspections, filters, etc.)
- Complete DOT inspections per FMCSA standards
- Repair brakes, electrical systems, tires, exhaust systems (DPF, DEF, EGR)
- Handle emergency road service calls and shop repairs as needed

Job Requirements:
- Valid CDL A License with clean driving record
- 2–5 years of experience in towing, mechanics, or roadside service
- Mechanical and diagnostic experience (trucks/trailers)
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical
Wage Range: 35.00 - 48.00 per hour
