Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated AMS certified Lead Toddler Montessori Guide to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire a classroom of curious toddlers, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes independence, exploration, and a love for learning. Your expertise in Montessori principles and early childhood development will ensure each child's unique needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Salary and Benefits will be based on years of classroom experience post Montessori Certification. The range posted is only a range. Exact salary determination will be done after an interview and trial process.

Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom activities, implementing Montessori curriculum tailored specifically for toddlers, emphasizing hands-on learning and sensory exploration.
- Develop and adapt lesson plans that align with developmental milestones, and social-emotional learning.
- Foster a warm, respectful environment that encourages independence, curiosity, and positive behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with families to communicate progress, address individual needs, and support early intervention efforts when necessary.
- Maintain a well-organized classroom that promotes safety, cleanliness, and child welfare standards in accordance with licensing requirements.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides, ensuring high-quality childcare and classroom management practices are upheld.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, special education strategies, and Montessori methodologies to continually enhance teaching skills.
Experience
- Proven classroom experience working with young children of age 18 months-3 years, preferably within Montessori or preschool environments.
- Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing educational activities for toddlers.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques suitable for toddlers to foster positive social interactions.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to create a collaborative learning environment.
- Prior experience in Montessori school settings involving toddler care is preferred.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
