Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role involves providing effective pest management solutions to residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pest control methods, along with excellent customer service skills. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for identifying pest problems, applying treatments, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and follow-up.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and assess the extent of the problem.
- Develop and implement customized pest control plans based on the specific needs of each client.
- Apply appropriate pesticides and treatments in accordance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and recommend maintenance strategies to minimize future infestations.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment details and customer interactions.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as necessary for various pest control tasks.
- Drive company vehicles to transport equipment and travel to job sites efficiently.
Skills
- Proven experience in pest control
- Strong sales skills to effectively communicate service offerings and upsell additional services when appropriate.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various environments.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to ensure safe transportation between job sites.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail when assessing pest issues.
