Job purpose
Giving amazing customer service by greeting every customer and running the cash register to properly and accurately ring up customer transactions.
Duties and responsibilities
Cashiers are responsible for
● Ringing customers through the register accurately and quickly
● Maintaining their cash drawer accurately
● Answering the phone and transferring it to the proper department. Using the phone system for overhead pages
● Assisting customers in bagging their groceries
● Doing go-backs
● Stocking and maintaining displays around the register area, beer and soda
● Cleaning the check stands and areas around the front end of the store.
● Maintaining brand standards on organization, cleanliness, and safety.
● Other duties as assigned.

Physical requirements
● Ability to stand for long periods of time.
● Able to lift 50lbs or more.
